Small Groups

Hebrews 10:24-25
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

None of us were created to go through life alone.  From the very beginning, when God created woman because “it is not good for man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18), we were designed for relationship.  Let’s face it: life can be downright hard sometimes.  We need to be connected with people for fellowship, ministry and community – people who will share in our highest mountain top moments and help us through the deepest valleys.

This is why it is important – vital – to be connected with the body of Christ.  We all need connections that run deeper than what we get by simply coming to church on Sunday mornings.  We need fellowship.

This is where Small Groups come in.

Small Groups are the place where connections take root.  In small groups, we learn together, grow together, bear one another’s burdens, “encourage one another and build one another up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).  In short, we do life together!

Each Small Group is unique, with its own personality and style.  But they all share in common a time for learning, time for mutual ministry, and love for Christ reflected in the relationships fostered in each Small Group community.
