Higher Ground – Children

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

"And these word that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise."

Higher Ground ministers and cares for children birth through fifth grade. Held each Sunday morning at 10:00 am during the church service.  Check in begins at 9:45 am.

• Babies Basecamp: birth to 16 months
• The Foothills: mobile through 3 years
• The Ridge: 3-5 year preschoolers
  
• Mount K-1: kindergarten and 1st grade
• Mount 2-3: 2nd and 3rd grade
  
• The Peak: 4th & 5th graders
  

We partner with parents to provide a Christ-centered ministry for your family. Our activities are planned to be fun with the priority being placed on boldy sharing the good news of Jesus, proclaiming the authority of God’s word without apology, lifting the name of Jesus high through worship, and teaching to believe in the power of prayer. 

We encourage you to set aside time to serve in your child’s classroom to be a part of this process. We want children to understand God’s presence in their lives when they accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We encourage you to continue interacting with your child during the week.
