Home - I'm New - What To Expect
What Should I Expect When I Visit Harvest?
Harvest is a friendly church. You can expect a warm welcome when you arrive. You will find your way around easily, as we will have signs everywhere to direct you where you should go. Our children's ministry consists of workers who love children and who have been trained and screened in advance. Our worship team will lead an extended time of praise and worship consisting of mostly contemporary music with an occasional hymn set to a modern tune. The Pastor will preach a message from his Bible, showing how God's Word applies to life today. Be sure to bring your Bible with you. If you do not have a Bible, one will be provided for you. Once you join us for worship, be sure to visit a small group that meets at a home in your area.
Welcome to Harvest, we trust you will feel among friends!
What Time Should I Be There?
Our worship services begin at 10 AM. Harvest Kids, for babies through 5th grade, also begins at 10 AM. Give yourself 15 minutes to check in the children and get settled in the auditorium. There will be coffee served before church, so give yourself extra time to enjoy a hot cup of coffee, and to get to know others around you.
What Should I Wear?
At Harvest Bible Chapel we focus on the heart more than on the outward appearance. When you come to our weekend service, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts to as formal as sport coats and dresses. However, most people find themselves somewhere in the middle--most often wearing business casual. We do ask that people wear clothing that keeps the focus off of self and on Jesus Christ.
