Christmas Update
Harvest, The family and I are in Atlanta now. We're here with Lisa's sister's family. My mom and step-dad will join us from Florida tonight around 10pm . You're not going to like this, but the weather is a balmy 50-something degrees. This morning, we played the Christmas Eve Bowl (football) in the backyard. It was a blast. We'll eat dinner around 5:30 p.m . and open a few presents later tonight. We're really enjoying our break. The family and I trust you'll have a great break as well! Some... More

Randy Piper: Seven Questions/7 Answers
Harvest, Christmas is almost here. Personally, it's been the fastest year to Christmas ever. Lisa, Mariah, Nathan, Seth, Ainsley and I have been through so many changes this last year. Anyway, adjusting to all those changes just causes time to fly. There's really been no time to just quiet our spirits and look back on all that God has done. We're looking forward to reflecting a little bit more during Christmas. It'll be an encouraging exercise. Also, it should get us ready for 2010. Next year... More

The Teachers at Maple Grove JH

It was so fun. The staff was all smiles and so thankful for our thoughtfulness. They wanted to make sure I said "Thank you" to all of you. So, Thank You, Harvest! You... More

Snow and other thoughts...
Harvest, What's so great about snow? Some people may say " nothing is great about snow!" Some people may say "sledding!" Some people may say "staying home from work." Here's what God says about snow in Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow ; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."
